Because of the experience and skill from the various sectors in business has become someone to look up. He has been an inspiration to many and there are many important lessons that people have drawn from him.
For example a CEO, vision is very important for any leader. As a leader you must be able to have full knowledge of the business from the inside out. Where the company is headed and where it ought to be is something you should know. It is only at this point that you will be able to guide their employees under them and how to handle things. It is vision that dictates the decisions that should be made and the course of action to be taken in every situation. As of direction is achieved by the company and everyone in them.
Another important quality is that one must be accessible and approachable by everyone in the company or business. What has taken over as the approach not is the open-door system. This simply means that anyone can be able to approach leadership without any hindrances and share their hearts and mind concerning certain things that could be troubling them.
One other important quality is respect. If you want people to respect you also have to respect them because respect is one thing that is two-way. It is always good to respect your employees even though they are under you and under your command. This is very important because instead of commanding respect you and your respect and peaceful coexistence is fostered between you and your employees. You will be a good example to employees and they will emulates these when relating among themselves.
One thing that has also been pointed out is learning from people even as you scale up the ladder. Those people around us always teach us something for instance even those who are below us for example employees. As you scale up the career ladder, it is important that you continue learning from people and not to despise anyone. Make sure that you apply and put into practice whatever you learn so that it may transform you and seems to be knowledge.
But not least, it is important to be true and honest with yourself and others. Be true to others and they will also do the same for.
